Two Gunters in one classroom?! That's right! My Dad, Mr. Gunter, came to visit this week. He taught Science for years and years, so I asked him to come in and do an experiment about space. The kids had to figure out whether the speed of an asteroid effects the size of the crater it makes on the moon. (That's some higher level thinking right there!) It was a great learning experience, and also super fun!

Victoria's Dad, Mr. Lin, came to visit us today! He taught us all about Chinese New Year! He brought in amazing clothes and told us about the superstitions and foods related to the New Year. We learned some Chinese words, repeating after him. We made Chinese paper lanterns, played a chopstick game, and colored in some fun Chinese pictures. It was a GREAT morning! Thank you so much Mr. Lin!
